Marla Ottenstein is the owner of OTTENSTEIN MARKETING, a boutique marketing firm based in Naples, Florida that specializes in advertising, public relations, sales & marketing, website design, logo development and corporate branding. Her select clientele includes luxury homebuilders and commercial contractors, developers, architects, designers, lawyers and small business owners, among others.
An accomplished freelance writer, Marla's work has been published in several national and regional architecture and design (shelter) publications. She is recognized for her ability to write concise, sophisticated and memorable copy that evokes a strong visual connection to the homes and projects she writes about.
Marla has also earned acclaim for her photo-essays depicting her extensive travel experiences around the world.
An entrepreneur at heart, Marla recently launched WEB.WRITER, a business that specializes in the fine art of writing succinct, sales-generating copy targeted toward Internet marketing and website design. Marla also offers expert employment marketing services, including writing professional resumes, cover letters and personal biographies.
Recognized by the Southeast Builders Conference (SEBC) for her in-depth knowledge of the luxury homebuilding market, Marla has been invited to judge the Aurora Awards, an elite competition honoring the most outstanding builders, planners, developers, architects and designers in a 12-state region, for the past five years.
When not sitting at her computer writing, or on the courts playing a mean game of tennis, she can be found globetrotting to such wonderful places as Africa and South America, China, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Thailand, Turkey and all through Europe, as well as to the Rocky Mountains where she avidly pursues her other interests: skiing, hiking and horseback riding.
